Mind Institute is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism and other cognitive or mental conditions. Mind Institute provides a full continuum of highly effective therapeutic services to children and adults of every level of abilities, based on best practices and scientifically proven techniques. Our services include Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mental Health, Sensory Integration, Special Education, Vocational Training, and structured day programs.
As an Applied Behavior Analyst, you will provide clinical skills directions and behavior minimizing procedures based on applied behavior analysis theories to clients with autism and related developmental disabilities in the home community and school settings. You will collect data, assist with parent training, and conduct clinical assessments as needed.

Responsibilities and duties:
Manage challenging and disruptive behavior and replace them with appropriate, adaptive, and functional behavior.
Conduct practical behavior assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
Provide training to teachers, support staff, and caregivers on how to implement the recommendations outlined in the treatment plans.
Interpret graphic displays of behavior data.
Develop skill acquisition programs that are individualized to the student’s behavior and academic functioning.
Conduct workshops.
Provide direct client care in a 1:1 setting and group setting.
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcome for clients.
Utilize a combination of intensive teaching techniques that follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding clients’ progress as instructed by the board-certified behavior analysis.
Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
Assume lead responsibilities in the absence of your colleague.
Maintain and acquire technical knowledge through CPD and show commitment to ongoing training development as it relates to clinical skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and community members.
Adhere to Mind Institute’s policies and procedures.
Follow the code of ethics, as indicated by the behavior analyst certification board.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, therapy, or counseling
Extensive experience of treating children with autism applying ABA techniques
Outstanding knowledge of ABA strategies
Thorough understanding of autism-related conditions working as an ABA
