Job Description
• Experience in procuring and purchasing Catering materials and product items
• Experience in operating a tender; linking into financial systems, management of a supply chain and an understanding of the impacts of sustainability in the procurement process
• Ensuring a company sticks to budgets and operates profitably
• Liaises with key the other divisions to determine their product and service needs
• Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
• Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
• Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
• Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals
• Assesses total costs of company purchases
• Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
• To prepare the import requirements and documentation (detailed customs declaration, bill of lading, certificate of origin, pro forma invoice and import license, etc.) in accordance with the Qatar Law
Desired Candidate Profile
Professional in Supply Management or any related certifications. At least three years previous experiences in Catering and FMCG industry. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, to procure internationally and locally, Working knowledge in one or more ERP would be advantageous, as would aptitude with Excel.
