Ability to develop & motivate a large multi-cultural workforce and deliver the services efficiently with continuous improvement.
To manage implement and be responsible for engineering emergencies, breakdowns, maintenance, legislation analysis & implementation and capital/minor work schemes.
To provide personnel management of the engineering function accountable to the post, and to maintain up to date knowledge of developments with the engineering subject area.
To provide technical and specialist advice on the building services and engineering infrastructure.
To provide effective maintenance service, minor and capital works service and guidance in planning and development of clinical services.
Managing all Engineering related activities within a facility.
Manage the engineering services to ensure compliance with Statutory/Mandatory ACOP, HTM, HGN, HBN and to participate in official roles of AP and designated RP to satisfy/meet these regulatory standards.
المهارات
Must have comprehensive knowledge gained through working in healthcare environment for 10 years, at least 5 years of which must be at a mid-level engineering & facility management post.
Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering subject (like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), additional in-depth postgraduate, professional qualified engineer with related professional qualification (MIMECHE, MIEE, MCIBSE).
Professional engineer registration in an accredited organization or recognized government body is desirable.
Must have extensive experience working as a senior manager in estates & facilities in a large and complex acute hospital environment.
Must be able to develop and drive forward engineering related strategies.
Fluent is regulatory matters relating to engineering in Qatar.
Conversant in broad range of engineering systems, plant, and equipment.
Knowledge and experience in working according to and maintaining JCI accreditation.
Knowledge and experience in working with healthcare sector standards like HTMs, HGN, ACOP, HBN, NFPA, ASHRAE etc is desirable. Certificate training in above is also preferred.
