As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll manage all costs relating to building and engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures .... You’ll seek to minimize the cost of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Assists Project Manager/ Contracts Manager in the preparation of Monthly Interim progress payment certificates.
Assists Project Manager in the preparation of Monthly Progress Report.
Assists Project Manager in responding to Engineer’s Representative’s and subcontractor’s correspondence on contractual matters. >” Evaluation and submission of variations.
Assists PM for preparation of the Monthly Cost Report.
Measures all the Quantities for all the works after issue of the drawings and pass to PM/ Contacts Manager.
Prepares the list of materials for all the project requirements.
Controls and verifies all the invoices and materials delivered for all major items through store keeper, signs and passes to the PM. >” Control of LPOs/LOAs etc.
Preparation of Payment Certificates and final accounts for Subcontractors and Suppliers. >” Preparation of draft correspondence for PM review
Preparation of EDT and other claims.
المهارات
Preferable to have completed University Bachelor’s degree.
Excellent command and proficiency of English language and fair knowledge of technical terminology is essential.
Minimum 2-4 years experience in related field
Should be able to work with minimum guidance.
Should demonstrate a high degree of drive and initiative as work is largely unsupervised and often demanding.
Must be prepared to work beyond normal working hours whenever required, including working on weekends as necessary
Should be pleasant, creative, self-motivated with initiative to enhance the office environment.
