Install, Maintain and repair all electrical wirings, equipment and fitures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, Untercome, and electric control systems.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and handtools to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect the wires to the Circuit breakers, transformers and other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipments and components to identify hazards and defects and the needs for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance of codes
Test electrical systems and conitinuity of circuits in electtical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters volt meters, and ensure capability of safety systems
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes
Perform basic mechanical task when able and competent
