The legal team of this global organisation in Qatar plays a big part in ensuring the company’s compliance with regulatory laws. As a key member of the legal function you will be required to take a proactive leadership role in the business and seek to understand key strategic drivers of the company in order to enable the provision of appropriately tailored advice and maximise the value that the legal function brings to the business. You are responsible for creating a value add in-house support service that combines professional knowledge, expertise and experience with sound commercial/business acumen and an ability to realistically assess and communicate risk.

Apply if you have:
Relevant 3rd level degree / qualification in law (mandadory)
5 + years quality corporate / commercial legal experience as part of a large corporate or private practice firm
Excellent written / oral communication and inter-personal skills
Fluent in English & Arabic (both oral and written) mandatory
Leadership capability with the right attitude and aptitude
Ability to identify and effectively address / lobby key stakeholders on strategic issues
Ability to prioritise effectively and manage a heavy workload in a changing and complex environment
