With us you will lead and direct the Facility & Health and Safety and Wellbeing function for Vodafone Qatar and advise the management on the strategic decisions related to Vodafone properties in terms of compliance with the high standards, dynamic, safe and effective work environment in all our offices, retail stores, data centers and call center. To direct the Property, facilities, Health and safety teams who are managing fit-out, soft and hard facilities management according to the International standards, and local legislations. Including managing the leased contracts, payments, relationships with landlord’s, local authorities and internal stakeholders.
Ensure the implementation and the development of HSW policy in order to preserve health and personnel safety, the safety of equipment and processes, and the protection of the environment while respecting standards of health, safety, security and environmental protection laid down by the legislation in force, codes of good practice and guidelines in this matter taking into account the continuing evolution in all these areas while ensuring that duties are performed to a satisfactory standard within Vodafone Qatar.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized university.
15 years of H&S;, Property & Facilities management experience and Project management fields is required, within the GCC or Middle East region, of which at least 8 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
Strong project management experience with PRINCE-2 certification would be preferred
Strong H&S;, risk management and business continuity skills (Grad-IOSH, OHSAS 18001)
Competence in Microsoft Office tools including project management and AutoCAD.
Advanced customer service orientation.
Strong business acumen.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong strategic thinker.
Strong conflict management, facilitation and resolution skills.
Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to connect with people to drive successful relationships.
A demonstrable track record of working at the highest level and delivering outstanding results, including managing change and delivering on growth strategies.
Excellent use of English (must) and Arabic language (preferable).
Excellent relationship-building skills.
Extensive skill handling personnel from a multi-cultural work environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to scan the external environment to understand the impact on the business.
Strong decision making & problem-solving skills.
