An information security supervisor manages the care of sensitive and classified information.
Oversee the safekeeping of information for a specific place or organization.
Develop, maintain and publish up-to-date information security policies, standards and guidelines.
Oversee the approval, training, and dissemination of security policies and practices
Supervise the work of other IT professionals, like analysts, software developers, and support specialists
Focuses on preventing unauthorized people from using, changing, or stealing secured and/or sensitive materials.
المهارات
Must have a four year college degree in a field related to information security or computer science.
Must have minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Good computer skills to analyze security setups and make sure that they meet and/or comply with official standards.
They must keep current with threats and concerns to information safety.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with business managers, IT engineering and IT operations staff.
A strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies and policies.
Experience working in a financial/banking industry is a plus
