Position Summary: Working under the direction of the Senior Education Specialist with the Division of Medical Education, this role support the WCM-Q accreditation process and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for a wide variety of tasks and projects that require a high degree of professionalism and use of judgment. This role is also expected to work fairly autonomously, and be able to problem-solve and handle ad hoc business requests as required. This is a fixed term 6-month position with flexible work hours of approximately 5 hours per day.
Job Responsibilities
Collects, collates, analyzes and distributes information related to the accreditation project.
Organizes appointments, group meetings and conference calls.
As required, compiles and distributes agendas and materials, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
Provides word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software services, including drafting routine correspondence, and collates information and prepares, formats and proof-reads reports for ad hoc projects as required.
Prepares itineraries and coordinates the arrangements as requested.
Maintains strict confidentiality and security of all documentation, particularly that pertaining to students, faculty and staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
المهارات
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in education or administration, preferably in an academic institution.
Previously demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures desirable.
Previous experience working in accreditation, quality or compliance an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previously demonstrated proficiency in planning, problem solving and analytical skills.
Must be attentive to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrated advanced written and oral English communication, and presentation skills.
Previously demonstrated advanced organization, and interpersonal skills.
Advanced level proficiency in MS Suite of products including Word, Excel and Power-point.
Experience with database software.
Must be able to work independently and use sound judgment to execute assignments.
Previously demonstrated advanced level multi-tasking ability in a results oriented environment.
Must be able to demonstrate assertiveness, and the ability to be proactive.
