الوصف الوظيفي The Translator converts written material or spoken statements from one or more source languages into the target language, ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible. Key Accountabilities 1. Translates original material and rewrites it in the target language by using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents to the words used, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained. 2. Produces documents, letters and presentations using the adequate templates and researches legal, technical, financial and governmental phraseology to find the correct translation in order to create high quality documents for the CEO Office following QFC standards. 3. Edits any required documents by correcting the grammar and spelling, by proofreading and ensuring the final translated versions are accurate and liaises with internal and external clients, and specialists to discuss any unclear points. 4. Provides interpretation services at large conferences, formal meetings, business functions, ministry offices, etc. in order to facilitate communication between individuals and ensuring a clear message is provided to both sides. 5. Maintains the physical and electronic filing system for all translated items in order to ensure there is a repository for all translations and that documentation is properly handled and stored. 6. Provides other departments with translation support or other work as and where required. المهارات · Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in translation, foreign language or related discipline. · Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience with financial experience preferred.
