Duties & Responsibilities included but not limited to:
· Ensure smooth operations in the workshop in a timely manner as essential for the working of crane and other heavy equipment’s under Equipment Leasing division.
· Develop administrative procedures and operating quality control checks to monitor workshop activities and associated costs according to plan.
· Wholly responsible for repair and maintenance of a fleet of equipments such as forklifts, boom trucks, cranes, loaders, cranes, trailers etc.
· Supervise and monitor the entire process of repair from start to end.
· Document the maintenance schedule of equipments and ensure that they undergo checks in a timely fashion.
· Technically guide and intervene the team in equipment repairs as required.
· Ensuring timely completion of work and adherence to safety and quality of the repaired equipment.
· Possess knowledge of replacements and coordinate with the purchase department to identify cost effective substitutes.
· Ensure safety of workplace and workers and monitoring if all safety requirements are being adhered to.
· Plan time to time training in safety, technical product information in liaison with QHSE.
· Responsible for staff development activities comprising of supporting recruitment, team development and complaint resolution, set KPI’s for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal and also drive motivation levels of direct reports.
· Assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries.
· Maintain a safe working environment.
· Get the team trained with equipment vendor for effective troubleshooting.
. Hands On experience as a Cranr Sr. mechanic or Sr electrician or Sr. Hydraulics experience.
