We’re looking for a flexible and versatile OPERATIONS LOGISTICS MANAGER in Qatar, who will be responsible for the growth of our brand for a start-up online food delivery company. As OPERATIONS LOGISTICS MANAGER reporting to the General Director, you are accountable for overall logistics & customer service operations, follow up of performance and costs of the logistics operations. Responsibilities: • Passion for service delivery, responsiveness, and constant improvement • Can-do attitude, problem solving skills and passion for food industry • Manage day-to-day operations, performance and mentor Logistics Supervisors and Fleet Delivery Team • Responsible for optimizing processes, maximizing driver utilization, minimizing order times, and ultimately positively impacting the overall customer experience • Oversee and ensure proper restaurant delivery set up • Take relevant actions to achieve the goals for growth • Manage budget, business plan and logistics action plan • Business-minded with a clear customer focus • Accountable for the KPI Monitoring System Set Up - Develop a set of feasible and implementable KPI to track and evaluate rider service level and performance • Inspires colleagues to reach extraordinary achievements, specifically in the Logistics department • Contribute to the Marketing campaigns and activities • Engage and partner with appropriate external suppliers • Manage inventory of all the Logistics department equipment • Monitor fatigue compliance
المهارات
• Ideally more than 5 years of Logistics experience preferably in food delivery industry
• Negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written. Hindi or Arabic fluency is a plus.
• Must have previous experience in a managerial role leading team
• Must have a strong analytical and mathematical skills and high level of computer literacy
• Developing and implementing action plans including providing clear direction and following up on goals
• Experience of leading in a changing environment with the ability to confront and manage poor performance
• Excellent understanding of Doha’s local areas and street system
• Experience with logistics and last-mile delivery are preferred
