Job Purpose: Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Key Account Executive is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them. The Key Account Executive will be the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions and will be focused on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business. Key duties will include visiting clients in the assigned portfolio, identifying opportunities for account growth and executing appropriate sales strategies to acquire new business. The chosen candidate will have strong account management experience with a successful track record in maximising revenue from existing accounts and securing profitable new business. This field based role is based in Doha, Qatar. Key Accountabilities:
New business development
Develop new and increase existing business
Achieve weekly targets in relation to sales visits and calls
Present the Averda value proposition directly to customers
Secure new business opportunities within the account through existing account, sister companies and subsidiary companies
Negotiate on the prices
Send quotations for potential business opportunities
Retention of existing portfolio revenue
Build, maintain and secure long-term business relationships with Averda’s customers
Take the necessary action to resolve any customer problems and queries in a timely manner
Renewal of Contracts
Maintain a tracker for contact renewal
Contact the customer 30 days prior to contract expiry
Maintain profitability margin of 35%
Update the renewed contract in sales force
Other
Stay informed on products, services, technologies, and competitive activity to support sales and marketing efforts
Advise the Sales Manager on market and competitor trends and developments
Manage and maintain up-to-date sales administration using Salesforce CRM software
Update market feedback on Salesforce
Resolve payment issues
المهارات
Essential
Bachelors of Business Administration
Track record of success in a B2B field sales role in both new business development and account management
Strong account management and relationship building skills
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in MENA region
Desirable
Experience working in the waste management, environmental services or related industry
