Role Purpose The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing products, equipment and services, and managing vendors while performing strategic procurement activities across multiple product categories for creating value for money supply base for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Managing Pre-qualification, selection and commercial appraisal of suppliers during Tenders and RFPs.
Implementing sourcing strategies in coordination with colleagues of all levels to ensure the best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements.
Developing supplier relationships. Interfacing with internal stakeholders and suppliers on procurement projects.
Product and supplier sourcing/negotiation, RFQ management and administration for high value requirements.
Prepares, processes and follows up on purchase orders.
Reviews the market for emerging trends, pricing, and promotional strategies; prepares competitor analysis reports, to enhance business decision making
Represents Alif in negotiating contracts and formulating agreements with suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors Degree
Minimum 5 years experience with preference in Retail
