- UPDA certified Mechanical Engineering Graduate.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in estimation for large scale projects.
- Proficient in CCS Candy estimating software.
- Sound knowledge in Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting and HVAC systems
- Analyze and evaluate market quotation technically and commercially.
- Prepare detailed material and labor costing by studying project documents.
- Responsible to Prepare tender proposals independently. ( Both commercial and technical)
- Good experience in preparing Value Engineering Proposals. (Alternative tender proposal)
- Handle post-tender clarifications from the client/consultant.
- Knowledge of Qatar’s local market. (Suppliers & sub-contractors)
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities from drawings. Knowledge of any quantity takeoff software is preferable.
- Able to prepare quick estimates using minimum available documents.
- Experienced in both Labor cost and material cost estimation.
- Willingness to work extra hours to meet the tender submission guidelines
المهارات
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Construction (MEP Division) field in the preparation of estimates and Bills of Quantities for or Contract Administration of major civil, commercial, residential and industrial projects.
- Must be experienced in the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection System.
- Knowledge of different methods of measurement and cost analysis.
- Excellent computer skills, able to work with standard software programs 1 .e. Excel, Word, MS Project, Estimating specific software, etc.,
- Thorough knowledge of contracts, able to identify and rectify contract deviations or deficiencies.
- Familiar with standard construction contract language, procedures, claims and variations, correspondence.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse multi-cultural workforce.
- Must be flexible enough to fit into a site based or Head Office based team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering.
