We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment. A head chef has a highly skilled professional cook who oversees the operations of a restaurant or dining facility. And responsible for the food that comes out of a kitchen, from conception to execution. Duits and Responsbilties:
Check freshness of food and ingredients
Must create new items for the menu and suggest how to develop current dishes.
Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
Develop recipes and determine how to present the food
Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
Approving and “polishing” dishes before they reach the customer
Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are me
Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
Instruct cooks or other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food
Train food preparation or food service personnel.
Supervise or coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation
Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
Order or requisition food or other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation
Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services.
Check the quantity and quality of received products.
Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays
Plan, direct, or supervise the food preparation or cooking activities of multiple kitchens or restaurants in an establishment such as a restaurant chain, hospital, or hotel.
Coordinate timing of food production activities.
Manage food service operations or parts of operations.
Coordinate planning, budgeting, or purchasing for all the food operations within establishments such as clubs, hotels, or restaurant chains.
Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labor, and overhead costs.
Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
Meet with sales representatives to negotiate prices or order supplies.
Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes or menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients or the likely number of customers.
Demonstrate new cooking techniques or equipment to staff.
Arrange for equipment purchases or repairs.
Meet with customers to discuss menus for special occasions, such as weddings, parties, or banquets.
Record production or operational data on specified forms.

Degree:
Diploma Level. Experience:
10 years and have experience in CGC country. Age :
30 years old and above. Additional Requirements:
Proven experience as head chef
·Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Credentials in health and safety training
Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
