Summary/Objective
The Pre- sales engineer position collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. Essential Functions
Responds to customer requests for proposals which relate to:
Networking & Telecommunications
ELV systems (BMS, Audio Visual, Security systems)
IOT, Industry 4.0, Home Automation
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
Holds a network of contacts with suppliers and distributors to effectively create proposals.
Keeps abreast with technology evolution and innovation to identify new products and services.
Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close”.
Develops designs and bills of materials for cost-effective solutions.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported.
Is well-versed in selling company’s portfolio of products and services.
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Effective communicator from both verbal and written standpoints.
Strong presentation skills.
Organized and display excellent time management skills.
Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic a plus
Proficiency in digital tools (Windows, Microsoft Office, Digital collaboration tools)
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or a related technical field
3 to 5 years of pre-sales experience or equivalent.
Qatari UPDA certification
Existing network and experience in Qatar
Project Management skills a plus
