الوصف الوظيفي Safety, regulatory compliance where applicable, strong business management and the ability to effectively manage a number of diverse technical workshops whilst training QEAF personnel in the use of the specialist equipment will be essential to effective delivery of customer contractual requirements. As a Technical Contract Manager, your key responsibilities will include: To lead and manage the Cobham QEAF HW3 AW139 workshops contract and its associated personnel. This includes, but is not limited to; § Compliance with the Cobham Aviation Services and QEAF and Regulatory, safety and compliance systems where applicable § Compliance with all QEAF regulatory and technical requirements § Delivering financial and operational outcomes in accordance with the contract budget, training plans and § contract requirements § Achieve optimal contract performance and maintain excellent customer and stakeholder relations Key functions of this position shall include: § Liaison with QEAF to establish and commission workshops specialist equipment § Safety and compliance in the use of all workshops equipment § Leadership and management of the Cobham workshops specialists § Directly managing the PT6 engine workshop and its associated training activities § Provision of specialist HUMS support and training to HW3 engineers § Development of workshop equipment processes and associated OJT task books § Financial performance in relation to manpower, material, overheads and other relevant controllable costs § Delivery of customer contractual requirements with regard to training QEAF personnel § Effective communication and building strong partnerships with Key Stakeholders including QEAF HW3 leadership, Equipment OEMs, Cobham engineering and training organisations. SPECIAL CONDITIONS Technical workshops involve the use of potentially harmful specialist Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul equipment that requires strict compliance with OEM technical data and compliance with bespoke safety procedures. The Technical Contract Manager must drive and deliver a culture of safety first ahead of training or delivery schedule and maintain the highest level of safety and technical compliance across all relevant workshop disciplines. The QEAF HW3 workshops contract forms a bespoke business stream within the Aircraft Maintenance Function. Good business acumen and a well-disciplined approach to running a successful contract is essential combined with strong people skills to encourage, mentor and develop Cobham staff and trainees alike. Experience § Proven track record in aviation maintenance management with at least 5 years at management level within the AW139 aircraft maintenance environment including the use of AW139 HUMS software. § Extensive knowledge of technical requirements related to mechanical Component Repair and Overhaul. § Experience in developing processes and procedures for the use of complex workshop test equipment. § Sound business skills to successfully manage the contract whilst managing both performance and financial elements § Proven ability to work and deliver to contract deadlines § Demonstrated performance in team building, fostering organisational culture and delivering continuous improvement § Demonstrated high level in Communication, Team Building and Partnership skills in dealing with stakeholders § Ability to develop and deliver On Job Training to suitably qualified technical personnel Personal Skills/Abilities § Superior knowledge aircraft maintenance is support systems at both first and second line, especially with regard to the Leonardo AW139 helicopter § Sound knowledge of safety systems and environment controls relating to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul § Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated track record of establishing a positive organisational culture and delivering to agreed timelines § Strong business acumen with knowledge of business financials and financial decision making process § Good Change and Project Management Skills § Team oriented with proven advanced communication and influencing skills § Customer focussed with exceptional personal and communication skills § Self-Motivated, confident and assertive Educational Vocational Qualifications – Licenced Aircraft Engineer with previous experience at workshop level component maintenance, repair and overhaul across all disciplines. Aeronautical and Business Management tertiary qualifications are desirable. |
