Role Objective:
To establish an improved link between the Retailers and the United Development Company
Assist with the Annual Retailers Marketing support plans
Implement the ongoing Retail Marketing support plans
Perform Market research related to retailers
Assist in the preparation and presentation of business plans related to retailers
Obtain, track and update various project progress and financial information for Qatar’s retail properties
Carries out and performs other related duties as specified and when required and assigned by the Line Manager to improve or enhance the efficiency of directorate’s work and performance
Key Accountabilities Retailers Support:
Integrated approach – partnering with local retailers to promote their presence by offering special offers
Maintain an accurate database of retailers’ mobile numbers and email addresses to enable SMS/Email communications
Rollout a Community newsletter for retailers highlighting forthcoming events on The Pearl, or within their respective communities, and to inform the retailers of changes and initiatives happening on the island.
Provide annual bulletins to residents which are short and graphically display how the funds collected from their service charges have been applied in the past year
Organise Market Days/Farmers Markets by inviting retailers & F&B;outlets on and off The Pearl to display and sell their produce and goods in designated promotional areas, or erect marquees in the park for them to display

Experience
Knowledge and understanding of marketing and retail methods and standards
Related customer service experience is essential
