Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Ensures the implementation of the IMS techniques in the department. 2.Responsible and authorize the implementation and monitoring of Quality Management Systems (IMS) and control of QA/QC technical department staff in the organization. 3.Analyze the project specification for concrete requirements. 4.Prepare mix design and cost analysis according to the project specifications. 5.Conduct research studies to develop and improve the quality of concrete strength. 6.Conduct trial mixes for new contractors according to the project specifications. 7.Provide technical assistance to the engineers, contractors, and clients. 8.Analyses the data gather in the cube compressive strength report in statistical matter. 9.Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company. 10.Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes. 11.Respond to customers complains. 12.Rectify product non-conformities. 13.Supervise the over day-to-day laboratory tasks. 14.Meet the client and consultant engineers to discuss execution plans. 15.Ensure all quality certificates and equipment calibration is up-to-date, and registered into the Master List of Instrument Calibration. 16.Review all cube test results and report non-conformities to technical manager. 17.Assist in developing new testing procedures and methods to support validation. 18.Delegate tasks to labs-in-charge in all plants. Qualification Requirements: Education and Training:
Diploma in Technical.
Chemical engineering or its equivalent.
Senior Concrete Inspector certificate in American Concrete Institute or its equivalent
Work Experience:
Five years of work experience as QA / QC Engineer in ready-mixed concrete business especially in aggregate and cement analysis.
