People Dynamics has been engaged to help our end client identify a Director- service design to join them in their operations in Doha. I

The Director Service Design is primarily responsible for the Service Design resources within ITS. The number of employees in this department is likely to grow over the years. Current Service Design team size is approximately 25 people containing Senior Managers, Managers, Architects, Solution & Business analysts.
This is a key management role and the Director Service Design will spend a significant amount of time interfacing with people in the business at all levels, plus working closely with our customers and partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complex service design processes that are required to deliver Managed IT Solutions and Services for many diverse customer solutions.

Creation of Service/Solution Design packages and statements of work (SOW) for services to manage the transition of new services into live operation in a controlled and risk assess manner.
15+ years in IT services or related organization, preferably with an IT Managed Services provider Demonstrated success in the conceptualization, development, delivering and management of complex solutions and services in service provider and/or enterprise space Expert understanding of enterprise technologies including Data Centres (Tier-III), WAN/MAN/LAN networks, enterprise storage, server technologies, enterprise applications(ERP,BI,CRM,CMS etc.), security and enterprise management systems Advanced understanding and application of Architecture Framework for service design, definition and documentation. I.e. TOGAF etc.… Operational experience in managing/maintaining complex environments within a managed service environment Proven track record in developing IT strategy to drive business success. Inspirational leader, effective team player in board and executive level teams and experienced in facilitating collaboration in complex organizations Champions the use of systems and process to drive business performance Detailed understanding of technology and process frameworks including ITIL, TOGAF, ISO,ETC Strong understanding of business requirements and processes as they related to service and solution designs.
