The Change, Configuration & Release Manager is accountable for the operational management of the following processes: Change & Release Management Service Asset and Configuration Management
The effectiveness of these processes is dependent on and not limited to the following: Proper assessment to the Change Requests in order to maximise the probability of success whilst minimising the impact of risk upon success. Coordination of changes, scheduling, and planning meetings with the appropriate technical resource for our dedicated client account. The creation of effective schedule and the facilitation of approval process for changes, maintaining close liaison with internal and external support teams and Senior Managers over the release of major and significant change. Updating the CAB and escalate accordingly, reviewing Change using post-implementation reviews (PIRs) before closure. Produce Change, Release, and Configuration Management reports. Supports and maintains the current Configuration Management process for the dedicated or non-dedicated clients, with a view to identifying and developing future capabilit
المهارات
University degree computer/technology and/or business administration related field OR substantial career experience with demonstrable success
Ideally 10+ years in technology services organisation, preferably external service provider
5+ years CCRM experience in either consultancy, implementation, management or a combination of them all
Hold one or more ITIL practitioner/intermediate certificates in Configuration, Change or Release Management. (RCV or Service Transition) Good understanding of Project Planning and Management Experience in Risk Management Strong Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority To have practical experience of continuous improvement methods and techniques To have a good understanding of statistical and analytical principles and processes To possess good interpersonal skills for written, oral and face to face communications To possess skills in influencing and negotiation methods and techniques To have the ability to understand how the IT supports the business Strong understanding of enterprise technologies including Data Centres, Microsoft and Cisco environments Information Acquisition - Identifying gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and devising means of remedying gaps.
