VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Mobile Applications Developer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill set required:
1. Should have Minimum experience for 3 years in mobile development.
2. In-depth experience in all aspects of mobile application development (analysis and design to implementation and support)
3. Development experience on mobile application cross-platform engine (VIPERA)
4. Preferable to have good experience in mobile apps native development for the following platforms: iOS (Objective-c), Android & Blackberry (Java), and Windows phone (ASP.NET)
5. Preferable to have good experience in developing apps using the official development tools for each mobile platform (Xcode for iOS, Eclipse for Android and Blackberry, and MS Visual Studio for windows phone)
6. Must have strong development skills in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Java, J2EE.
7. Advanced experience in VIPERA engine and service console.
8. General database design and implementation experience
9. A good understanding of Infrastructure (hardware, software, data, networking)
10. General experience in Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory and Internet Information Services (IIS).
11. Experience developing general Web Services, including but not limited to .NET and Java.
12. Good problem solving skills
13. Experience developing against Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 and Oracle database.
14. Understanding of XML data structures
15. Business analysis and design experience.
16. High-level understanding of Active Directory, AD security, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancer, Firewall, SMTP.
17. Good communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to work independently with a client.
18. Should be Fluent in English - written and spoken, and preferred to be the same in Arabic.
Responsibilities:-
1. Troubleshoot complex mobile application problems, and server issues, including client environments, application configuration, user permissions, and data accuracy.
2. Resolve application outages, monitor production applications and support the day-to-day operations of mobile servers.
3. Define requirements for hardware platforms, includes required resources and projected growth for the applications
4. Document and maintain system configurations, application settings and code changes
5. Work with team to develop appropriate application training resources for end-users
6. Other duties as assigned by the manager
7. Application security
8. Experience in applying software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuration, development and unit testing.
9. Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
10. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and processes into effective mobile service solutions
11. Excellent team players with ability to work with multiple vendors and internal departments
12. Any other software-related area deemed applicable its mobile app services (such as training, setup, etc.)
Experience Required: 5Years.
