Revenue Assurance Analyst
Routinely respond to reports generated by supporting RA system or other application
Conduct regular reconciliation exercises between the billing platforms and exchanges, switches and HLRs for: Customer numbers, Services, Usage etc. Conduct similar exercises against the pre-paid depletion or any other charging mechanisms
Risk Evaluation of new products, services & systems or any change management process that has a leakage/profitability impact; defining controls and development for the same.
Regular and random examination of unrated or suspense events
Ensure effective audit trails on all provisioning platforms
Analyse anomalies in report findings, identify root causes and promote the resolution of issues
Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of services, products and price plans offered
Provide readable, practical and enforceable recommendations to Billing, Credit Control, Provisioning and Switching; to prevent illegal provisioning, teeing-in, etc.
Identification of cost savings & opportunities to enhance company revenue streams Present facts and figures and prepare reports on a regular basis within short notice periods.
Regular reporting of leakages identified, in the Incident Tracking system
Independently resolves issues in relation to day to day activities.
Deal with a wide range of business and technical issues pertaining to revenue leakage detection and prevention scenarios.
Work within the timelines defined in the KPIs to ensure effective RA operations through timely revenue leakage detection and effective prevention wherever possible.
In terms of newly identified risks, use a Risk management approach to evaluate its criticality, and accordingly prioritize the control design and implementation.
Ensure as far as possible, that RA is not a show-stopper for any business enhancement
A strong level of planning and organizing is required within the department to work on deadlines and close the open issues of Revenue Leakage; at the same time not to affect the quality of closure.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent
3 years of total experience in RA or FM with knowledge of Telecom SOP, products and packages set-up, Revenue leakage scenarios, Risk Management
Knowledge of telecom OSS and BSS, especially MSS, IN nodes (AIR, CCN, SDP VS etc), HSS, PGW, SGW, GGSN, DSL Fiber, PSTN networks, SMSC, provisioning systems, call and traffic handling scenarios, Mediation and Billing systems functioning etc.
Good working experience in Oracle CRM/Ericssson IN/Netcracker RBM Billing modules
Experience in both prepaid and postpaid IT systems is a plus
Working Experience with Ooredoo Qatar project is a plus
SKILLS
SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts, UNIX
Shell/PERL/Python
Good in MS office especially Excel
Fluency in English
Knowledge of Java is an added advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Negotiations and persuasion
Presentation Skills
