Core responsibilities
This role is of a network expert within RAFM team for building and implementing various network controls for risks identified in RAFM projects and operations.
Technical lead and support during implementation of changes, system upgrades, migrations and projects impacting Data Networks and telecommunications networks (Nokia CBIS, CMM, CMG, CMSS, SPS & CHSS)
Engagement in projects from a risk perspective, for cloud Core Telco architecture solution to deploy them into the DC network (NOKIA CBIS & CBAM Based) on Open Stack.
Drawing and demonstrating architectural traffic flows in Mobile Core Networks towards IT Networks(mediation) Environment, to build controls
Act as the focal from RAFM for all project-related communication, coordination needs form requesters in other BUs and external agencies incl. suppliers. Communicate and update the status/issues for relevant project/program to Project team.
Coordinate Technical feasibility for project requests initiated from external BUs, in close consultation with relevant teams - Align with requester for risk evaluation and any change in scope.
Monitor change request/variation orders in the projects and it’s risk impact
Responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to deliver the requirements on time.
Responsible for communicating periodic status reports to RAFM Management and escalating potential issues as appropriate.
Evaluate proposed changes to the Network architecture and make recommendations for implementing various controls.
Providing support to RAFM operations team by monitoring and fine-tuning the controls developed

Experience
8 years of in-depth experience in Network design, solution and architecture
Should have deep knowledge of 4G and 5G call flows, and overall understanding of latest technologies in the Telecom space including VOLTE, VoWiFi, VoNR, IoT etc.
Good exposure in IMS and VoLTE architecture with all the nodes (P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, AS, HSS) and Knowledge of all end-to-end call flow Initial registration/volte & volte call/Emergency call/Conference call/Call forwarding/Call forking/SMSIP/SRVCC/CSFB with mandatory headers of SIP & IMS
Should have end to end understanding of Mobile Core and Packet Core solutions
Good SQL and Python/PERL/Shell Scripting experience
Basic understanding of Revenue Assurance process in Telco environment.
Hands on experience with Nokia Cloud Core Elements(CBIS, CBAM, CMM, CMG, CMSS, SPS, HSS)
High level of knowledge on Cloud technologies, like overlay network VXLAN, how to build a scalable L3 clouds.
Excellent understanding of Charging Data Records generation on CBIS based Network elements and its transport towards mediation and Billing systems.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of data network elements (CBIS, CBAM, Charging SYSTEMs)
Possess a good understanding of end-to-end charging scenarios for Nokia Telco applications/elements like CMM,CMG, CMSS, SPS, HSS
High to Medium level of knowledge on the following tools – such Ethereal, Wireshark, MRTG
Medium level of knowledge on Internet related systems and protocols (VPN, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, LDAP, HTTP, SNMP)
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills in Data Networks
Knowledge of Radio Networks is an added advantage
Willing to learn and become engaged in the other domains
Excellent Operations and Maintenance skills
Ability to work effectively in critical situations and exercise independent judgement
