Quantity Surveyor (Planning & Cost Control)

Responsibilities:

· The candidates shall work within a trouble-shooting team responsible for the following:

• Resolving problematic and complex commercial issues such as:

▪ Measuring, assessing, and valuing variations

▪ Quantum review and assessment of prolongation and disruption costs

▪ Assessment of interim accounts

▪ Final settlement of claims and final accounts

المهارات
Qualifications:

· BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

Preferable, have Chartered Membership of the RICS or equivalent (suitably experienced professionals may be considered)

· Must have a minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience

· Worked in the capacity of Quantity Surveyor within a Professional Consultancy or Client organization (Contracting background may also be considered).

· Preferably, have a minimum of 3 years experience in the gulf region

· Experience in heavy civils and major building projects

· knowledge and experience in procurement methods for consultancy and construction contracts

· Well-versed in International Conditions of Contract and law.

· A comprehensive, well-rounded knowledge and understanding of contract principles/administration

· Good experience in construction technology and on-site activities
