Responsibilities:
Oversee team of testers to manage workload, priorities and conflicts in testing schedules, and providing capacity cover where necessary due to workload, vacation or time zone
Lead efforts to improve and streamline services, including training the team on new tools and processes and identifying opportunities to drive incremental efficiencies in QA activities
Drive effective test management and administration, including logging of bugs, reporting to project managers, and identification of process issues
Work in partnership with interactive marketing project managers to align on required testing timelines, inputs and outcomes for each product and campaign to manage demand and deliverability against launch milestones
Collaborate closely with internal partners and external vendors to ensure successful preparation, execution and measurement of testing strategies and activities
Conduct weekly/monthly UAT Management status meetings
Collaborate and provide release status to leadership team and stakeholders
Lead, develop and motivate direct reports, ensuring continuous improvement through regular individual and team sessions
Identify and develop members within the team with the potential to assume more responsibility as needed/available
Establish and build relationship with business stakeholders for the program/ project
Address the issues, concerns or questions raised by upper management stakeholders on the test project health and metrics
Work with the team and leads/managers on future/current release planning, strategy and estimates
Bridge the communication and coordination gaps between delivery team spanning multiple QA streams
Advocate best practices and automation solutions for test effort reduction
Assess the progress and effectiveness of test effort and test productivity and take corrective actions
Actively participate and initiate Lessons Learnt and Retrospections
Facilitate the use of innovative solutions that can benefit testing
المهارات
Qualifications:
Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle, especially Agile, Test Driven Development, and Waterfall
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills; listening and critical thinking; presentation skills, facilitation skills
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Quick learner; flexible; process oriented; highly organized and proactive
Ability to manage multiple projects while demonstrating a sense of urgency
Knowledge of industry testing tools (JIRA, or similar)
Knowledge of Automation solutions
Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques, and tools (Traditional, Risk Based)
People skills (Ability to foster collaborative relationships, negotiating, diplomacy and advocacy skills)
Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Administration, Technology, Information Technology
