Job Purpose

To assist the Project Management Team and in particular the construction Manager in the material control, tracking, and documentation, from supplier handover up to storage in Contractor’s premises and utilization by Contractor and
To organize and coordinate the material follow-up
Issue a weekly material report.

Key Job Accountabilities

· Assist the project management team and in particular the Construction Manager in the material control, tracking, and documentation, from supplier handover up to storage in the Contractor’s premises and utilization by the Contractor.

· Establish with Contractor a system to track and report the daily use and location of used or stored material according to nesting plans. Monitor the trend of contingencies and verify that no shortages are foreseen.

· Issue a weekly material status report to the project management team

· Participate in pre-shipment activities from supplier and Contractor’s receiving activities, including damages, shortages, or quarantine material

· Maintain a register of material issues and participate in their prompt resolution.

· Expedite required documentation to hand over to Contractor or receive from the contractor when related to the material.

· Contribute to close-out report, including disposition of left-over material.

· Attend meeting as requested by his manager.
