Role Objective:
The Content Creator is responsible for writing, reviewing, editing, translating and updating content for UDC websites, marketing materials, social media, press releases and other platforms.
Key Accountabilities
Develop original content for company press releases, website, social media, annual report, brochures, speeches, presentations and advertising campaigns.
Create compelling headlines/slogans and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.
Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.
Adhere to stipulated editorial guidelines.
Keep an archive/file of completed assignments for reference.
Translate content/documents.
Ensure correct tone, voice, clarity, flow and structure of content.
Collaborate with team to come up with fresh and creative ideas, keeping audience in mind.
Stay abreast of the latest media trends and content best practices.
Carry out and perform other related duties as specified and when required and assigned by the Line Manager to improve or enhance the efficiency of department’s work and performance.
General Responsibilities in Quality, Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
4.2.1 Aware of the QHSE Management System.
4.2.2 Understand the importance of conformance to the QHSE Policy and procedures and to the requirements of QHSE management system.
4.2.3 Aware of the Customer Requirements (where relevant).
4.2.4 Aware of the Significant Environmental Aspects and Occupational Hazards / risk in this area of operation.
4.2.5 Aware of potential or actual Consequences of his/her work activities and deviation from specified Operating Procedures.
4.2.6 Aware of current Objectives and Targets in this area and what is the current status.
4.2.7 Aware of emergency Preparedness & Response.
4.2.8 Aware of Security Requirements, sexual exploitation and abuse or gender based violence.
المهارات
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors degree graduate in communications, journalism, translation, or a related field .
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in content creation/writing for corporate, media or agency.
Behavioral Competencies
Good time management and organizational skills.
Attention to details.
Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation.
Receptiveness to feedback.
Technical Competencies
Bilingual proficiency (Arabic, English).
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Content writing experience for all media platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and
social media platforms.
Capacity to work on multiple writing projects simultaneously.
Ability to tailor your writing style to suit the target audience.
