The ‘Health ,Safety and Security Manager’ role requires the candidate to manage safety and security programs and all related activities. They must ensure compliance with government guidelines and policies, directives, and procedures; develop and direct organizational safety and security strategy. They also must oversee the implementation of efforts to minimize loss; stay on top of deployment plans and third parties while monitoring the implementation of codes and norms for a strong security and safety approach.
Key responsibilities:
· Provide technical support in the following areas:
a, Security/risk assessment
b, Scenario planning, security plan development
c, Crisis/contingency planning
d, Other security-related functions
Develop and update security deployment plans, business continuity plans, crisis management plans, policies, and procedures. This must be done following our best practices and ensuring implementation through the service provider.
Advise and counsel management on employee and property safety and security-related matters.
Investigate all safety, security, and risk management-related issues.
Develop and facilitate security and safety training FM teams.
Conduct training assessment with key stakeholders resulting in increased safety, security, and risk management capacity.
Monitor security conditions, liaise and coordinate with external parties such as: private security, contractors, QCCD, CID , municipality , police forces, local governments, etc.
Inspect the facility and identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures and hold routine inspections on all retailers and mall units (both leased and non-leased units).
Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
Maintain records of employee discharge and employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned and required.
المهارات
Must have 10+ years of experience in large-scale operation.
Candidate with Large Mall operation experience is preferred
Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent IT literacy skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong employee relations and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
Valid qualification in occupational health, safety, and security.
Candidate available in Qatar with transferrable visa is preferred.
