Tender Manager - MEP (Building Services)

الوصف الوظيفي
· Strong time management and ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time

· Preparation of technical submission and construction programme.

· Develop, maintain and implement department standards, estimating procedures and guidelines

· Preparing the quick budget and report to the management about the tentative project value.

· Develop and maintain resource information on the product, vendor, subcontractor

· Develop and maintain man-hour cost data

· Review and evaluate the request for an estimate, tender clarifications, post-tender clarifications, coordinate with other departments

· Review weekly Tender Register and ensures timely completion of estimate

· Makes sure efficient and effective department functions

· Plan, coordinate and direct the estimating functions, including administration, operating budget, staff, work assignments, and performance reviews

· Review of final estimate to ensure accuracy and completeness which includes direct and Indirect costs for management review and approval.

المهارات
Educational Qualifications:

· Graduate Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer.

Knowledge & Experience:

· 15 to 20 years of functional experience in handling Tendering and execution of Electro mechanical building services of large-scale projects such as Air port, Sea Port, Residential and commercial towers, warehouses, infrastructure, utility stations and Fitouts works.

· Evaluating tender document from a technical and commercial prospective to identify the project requirements and risk factors.

· Well aware about all the authority requirements such as QCDD, Kahramaa, Ashghal, GSAS,QCA, MOI etc

· Good Exposure to Design optimization and value engineering of Electro mechanical services such as Electrical, HVAC, Fire protection, Plumbing and Drainage, ELV and special systems

· Well versed with Estimation procedures and timely submission of deliverables.

· Exposure in handling MEP tenders in the rage of $50-200 million

· Good contact with local and international MEP suppliers / manufacturers

· Good experience in Technical Tender presentations.

· Knowledge in Fidic and contractual matters.

Computer Software Proficiency:

· Experience in Estimation software

· Well experienced in Microsoft Office

· Knowledge in CAD /BIM (preferred)

· Knowledge in Primavera (preferred)

Registrations / Certifications:

· UPDA / QCDD
