Sourcing products that can be sold on the target profit meeting the changing needs of our customer base.
Negotiation with supplier to get the lowest cost.
JOB PURPOSE:
1.Business Profit
Responsible for the profitability and development by leading and Managing the range and profitability of Imports, FMCG products in all stores to increase the customer count and to maximize sales and profit. And Support the Commercial Manager.
Enhance the differentiation and shopper experience versus competition
Track global and local market trends to be leader in growing categories.
And any other reasonable task or responsibility as required by the company
Reducing shipping and logistics costs to maximize profits.
2. Sales Growth
Sourcing the right range of products &competitive;range as per customer demand and demand & import strategy
Preparing Plano gram of products and following up with store implementation
Taking fast actions on SKU level to maximise sales.
Working hand to hand with marketing department to introduce the products with all marketing channels and ways
Participating in company’s flyers.
Analysing the sales for each item to improve sales
3. Shrinkage and wastage
Importing the right quantity and variety to avoid expiry issue.
Monitoring items expiry dates and take action prior to near expiry dates to avoid expiry and protect the Brand and Company image.
Coordinating with store managers for in-store right offers.
4. Stock and inventory
Maintain optimum stock
Searching for new value-added products, that can achieve sales and margin targets.
Monitoring items near expiry dates and taking actions to avoid expiry.
Following for display updates on stock changes.
Updating shelf communications and keeping them in good conditions.
5. Expenses
Checking shipping documents and insuring they are without mistakes to avoid demurrage, detention or any customs penalties.
Ensuring the best shipping terms and costs for all shipments.
Ensuring the ideal distribution of new arrived products to stores to avoid transfer costs.
Using durable shelf talkers and maintain them from damage.
6. Process Management
Improving SFDA registrations process.
Preparing annual purchase budgets with clear timing and sales objectives.
Following clear order processing containing sales analysis, sales forecast and time table.
Tracking items sales, profit and expiry dates and taking actions.
7. Planning,Budget &Forecasting;Management
Preparing the annual purchasing budgets with time frame and sales objectives.
Evaluating sales targets achievements and taking corrective actions.
Managing items performance and tacking actions on fast and slow moving items to maximise sales and profits.
8. People & Performance Management
Motivating subordinates for best performance.
Leading a team work discussions and meetings for the best team performance.
Following the team tasks to achieve results on time.
Training stores staff and providing the knowledge about the imported, healthy and PL products value adding to both the company and customers.
9. Suppliers / Vendors Management
Developing and maintaining successful relations with vendors to get the best services.
Evaluating per vendor items sales, profit and service levels on regular bases.
Negation with supplier long & short terms agreement
Follow with vendors for any new arrivals in their range.
Reporting problems to suppliers and follow efficiently for solutions.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience:
International sourcing.
Logistics and supply chain.
Purchasing, pricing and market research.
Budgeting, sales forecasting and coasting.
Job Related Skills:
Good analytical skills to setup purchasing budgets that achieve the highest sales and margin with the least level of right offs.
Efficiently using computerized programs to manage items performances, reports and analysis.
Strong negotiation skills to achieve the best commercial deals from suppliers.
Ability to build successful relationships with all parties of the supply chain network.
Good communication skills in both Arabic and English.
