Role Objective:
The Senior Accountant shall be responsible to prepare, examine, analyze record & maintain assigned customers’ information and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness in accordance with accounting
standards/policies on timely manner in order to assist the department in meeting its targets and objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Update and maintain revenue tracking and related working details
Prepare monthly accounts.
Daily review, record and clearance or reversal of customer receipts based on related bank statements
Timely information to relevant stakeholders regarding clearance status of customer payments
Co-ordinate with all stakeholders and provide customer clearance and SOAs as and when requested
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly books close activities and prepare the periodic revenue statements and related analysis reports.
Responsible for accurate and timely input of journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue ledger related financial activities and assign entries to proper accounts for month.
First line of support for user queries regarding customer statement of accounts and additional details for transactions.
Manage all periodic and ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements for internal + external users
Support during quarterly reviews and periodic internal + external audits
Assist in developing revenue projections during forecast and budget cycle
Identify and recommend areas for system and process improvements
Prepare ad-hoc reporting as requested.
May require additional hours at work during financial closing, audit and budgeting periods

management system.

Procedures.

8 Aware of Security Requirements, sexual exploitation and abuse or gender based violence.

Job Requirement
Educational Qualifications
CA, CPA, ACCA.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience
Minimum 5 to 7 year of relevant accounting experience from a reputable company.
