Purpose of Role:
The Head of Ecommerce is responsible for cross-functional collaboration to manage and direct all aspects of Starlink’s regional ecommerce business. This includes:
Strategizing, planning, developing, and executing content plans;
Overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns;
Monitoring performance analytics, website traffic, and product performance; and
Other responsibilities depending on the company or industry.
Accountability & Responsibilities of Role:
Orchestrate all aspects of a strategic regional ecommerce plan. Combine existing expertise in sales, marketing, technology, and management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers across the region.
Oversee the ecommerce website of Starlink across the region. Manage the overall user experience, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns.
Be a key component in developing the effective planning and execution of an ecommerce strategy, working cross-functionally with teams to ensure quality assurance (QA) and timely publishing of all web content.
Participate in building and directing a team of ecommerce professionals that can effectively help develop and execute creative ecommerce solutions.
Direct integrated campaigns that will deliver an increase in conversion rates, overall order size, and managing margin performance across a variety of product lines.
Own and manage Internet marketing solutions, social media integration, search engine optimization (SEO), and other monitoring methodologies and analytics.
Provide thought leadership, innovation, and process optimization initiatives such as implementing ecommerce software and other industry best practices.
Identify new areas of ecommerce opportunities beyond current brand offering across the region

Position Requirement:
Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management capacity
BA or BS in Marketing or Engineering (technology concentration a plus). MBA a plus.
Proven leadership of large eCommerce projects
Experience with B2C or B2B eCommerce
Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics
Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
Demonstrated business operations and/or support experience.
Demonstrated experience in project delivery and experience in Retail concept design.
Experience at working in a fast-paced team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Advanced user of MS Office suite
Impressive, demonstrable track record and skills/experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level.
