Job Purpose:
Responsible for estimation of bid in Welding & Fabrication division.
Job Scope:
Responsible for no employees.
Deal internally with procurement & other department heads.
Deal externally with suppliers, subcontractors & customers.
Estimation
Responsible for bid preparation, co ordination with Engineering, procurement, sub contractors and other discipline Engineers and also responsible to estimate, co ordinate and complete the bid preparation process prior to the review of the same with the Manager.
Proficiency in estimation of fabrication & welding jobs.
Review tender documents assessing scope, risks involved and tender complexity using the (APQP-NPI) process were applicable.
Prepare laser, folding and fabrication tenders (inc planned routes and materials as appropriate).

Preferred Education:
Degree / equivalent
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of estimation experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Preferred Skills:
Fully literate in MS Office applications, MS project, Commercial & contractual knowledge.
Deep technical knowledge of project executing methodology.
Responsible to coordinate with various departments within organization like Sales, Procurement, QA/QC, planning etc.
Responsible to prepare complete bid & estimation, get approval from Manager and approval authority prior to submission.
Responsible to coordinate with other sections subcontractor & client.
Proven ability to work under pressure, use initiative, prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. A positive outlook towards teamwork is essential.
