Job Purpose:
• To support the delivery of all phases of the project, ensuring that they are delivered to the requisite levels of cost, schedule, and quality.
• To provide Project Management and Control across the Facilities Delivery Team ensuring the project team has a robust, comprehensive fully integrated plan for all phases of the Design & Construction Phases.
• To drive the Integration activities to ensure the delivery of the design and construction phases is integrated across Internal, External and Supply Chain Stakeholders to meet key contractual deliverables, in particular the consultancy and contractor teams on site.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• To support the management of the supply chain against a clear scope of services and contract T&Cs;to deliver Facilities scope of works and in accordance with supplier management procedures to maximize the output, achieve customer satisfaction and ensure best value for the business.
• Integration with the facilities management team to ensure understanding of site works and be able to apply technical knowledge to project data
• Undertake all required project control and integration duties across the facilities scope of works, including management of the WBS, SOW and OBS elements of the Project
• Interpretation of project data in line with key project activities occurring on site, to aid key decision making
• Instigate and manage cost and schedule challenge sessions with the consultancy team and contractor team to minimize financial and time impact to systems
• Will support daily, weekly, monthly meetings with the consultant team and construction contractor capturing progress updates, salient issues/ actions, and ensure effective and timely communication with required stakeholders.
• To manage the project management consultancy team with regards to expectations and ensure quality of output for schedule and commercial aspects of the facilities scope of works
• Ensure efficiency of processes through continuous improvement to meet tight timescales of project requirements
