Review the Project Specification, ITP & Quality Control Procedures, Method Statement
Attend pre-inspection meeting with Main contractor prior to the start of any work to clarify inspection requirements, plans and procedures.
Witness applicator qualification or trade test and paint system qualification
Monitors or witness the inspection for each discipline in accordance with Inspection & Test Plan to ensure that works performed by the sub-contractor are in accordance with the project specification.
Monitoring the surface preparation, dust contamination & salt contamination Levels and proper profile achievement.
Instructing the sub contractor regarding the Painting material handling & disposal meets site and project safety manual minimum requirements & Monitoring the Paint handling, mixing & application Techniques
Co-ordination with QA / QC / Consultant / Client for in-process & final inspection
Raise Discrepancy Report (DR), NCR against Site Deficiencies & Non-conforming Works
Evaluation of Daily Coating & Insulation Reports and Maintaining all quality records for future reference & Provide sufficient feedback to QA Engineer
Ensuring the type of insulation to be carried out like Hot, Cold, Acoustics, & dual.
Ensuring the insulation application and sacraments like thickness, staggered joints are closely butted.
Ensuring for contraction joints for cold insulation and also removable windows for inspection.
