Coating Technician

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Qatar for:

COATING TECHNICIAN

This position is a unique opportunity to Work from non-complex blueprints, specifications, work sheets, dimensions, color codes, mixing charts, tables, verbal and written instruction/information.

Your main duties will be:

• Should have at least 5-year experience in painting of industrial structures and equipment.
• Shall be responsible for planning, scheduling and supervising the work of subordinates and contractors, and must be able to support the Painting Foreman in the same.
• Knowledge in the properties of paint, proportions techniques for mixing, tools, equipment and materials common to the painting trade, skill in the preparation and application of paints to different types of surfaces, as well as the occupational hazard and safety precautions of the trade.

Candidates Profile:
Ideally, you should have completed diploma in mechanical engineering.

You should have minimum 5 years working experience in a coating in heavy industries.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, an advance level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
