Job Summary
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching and/or attending industry and related events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities.
Evaluates potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and potential revenue.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
Ensures continued relationships with existing accounts and strives to increase business.
Required Skills
Qualifications
Strong planning and organizational skills
Computer literacy - working knowledge of MS Office applications with focus on Excel spreadsheets and Power Point presentations
Excellent communication skills both English and French, verbal and written
Energetic, outgoing personality
Ability to work alone or as a member of a team
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience in the business to business market
Government Sales experience is an asset
Proven track record of sales success
