JOB PURPOSE
The position of Sales Associate consists of ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES
• Deal with the customer right from welcoming them to finalizing sales
• Serve customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
• Anticipate and react responsively and exceed customer requirements in a friendly and approachable style
• Communicate customer requests to management
• Arrange, organize, and display merchandise as necessary
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock
• Ensure the neat and orderly appearance of sales displays
• Process sales transactions, returns, and ensure that all related documentation is accurate and complete
• Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
• Keep the Store Manager well informed of activities and significant problems.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
• Good general level of education
• Bilingual - should be fluent in Arabic and English
• Experience in sales is preferable
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Good negotiation skills
• Motivated and energetic
• Flexible, and able to work under pressure
