Responsible for managing all retail outlets, showrooms, sales team, stock levels and daily operations, analysing sales figures and ensuring high quality standards to achieve the company’s targets and policies in order to maximize profit and minimize loss.
Develop and ensure implementation of the Retail Department policies and procedures in order to achieve the division’s objectives
Manage retail operations for the Division through effective management of showrooms, sales, staff, visual merchandising, and stock and resources management while ensuring standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are achieved; resolve all health, safety, and legal and security issues within the Retail Department.
Plan and implement expansion strategies related to Retail Department in order to increase revenue generation.
Maximize profitability and achieve department sales targets through joint operational and commercial focus, take action to obtain highest level of profitability for all retail outlets by executing reductions, price changes, and transfers.
Lead the sales effort for all retail outlets in order to attract and retain customers by identifying, interpreting and satisfying needs of the market.
Oversee the record of accurate sales figures for data analysis and forward planning on the ERP system; analyze sales figures, forecast future sales volumes, interpret trends, utilize resources efficiently and control costs and expenses to maximize profits and facilitate planning.
Manage stock levels and make key decisions pertaining to stock control in coordination with the Warehouse Manager and the Purchasing Department to achieve present and future demand for products.
Coordinate with Administration Department to ensure excellent facilities management, cleanliness, and timely maintenance services are maintained at all retail outlets.
Organize special promotions, displays and events in collaboration with the Showroom Supervisor, Showroom In-Charge, Visual Merchandiser and the Marketing Department as and when required.
Keep abreast of market trends in the retail industry and monitor competitors in the region.
Recommend changes to improve business operations related to market change, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the point of sales can compete effectively in the local market.
Provide recommendations regarding visual merchandising activities to ensure optimum visibility of products.
Prepare retail outlet agreements, amendments and other legal documents for new and existing retail clients, ensure compliance with legal regulations and requirements, and oversee updated legal documents.
Manage and motivate the retail sales team to ensure exceptional customer service, effective financial management; increased sales and optimum efficiency while communicating with customers to identify & resolve complaints and urgent issues related to the Retail Department.
Oversee employee product training to ensure that all staff possess superior best knowledge about the products to be able to communicate effectively with customers and ensure best performance.
Coordinate with Retail Department on all recruiting activities.
Conduct annual employee performance appraisals of employees
المهارات
Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
Master’s degree in Marketing or MBA would be an advantage.
Minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience in the same or related field
Bilingual candidates preferred
