Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.

In this role you serve patients by preparing medications; giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team and monitoring patient drug therapies. Further you have the following job responsibilities:
Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities;
Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals;
Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions;
Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing Pharmacy assistants work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections;
Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies;
Develops hospital staff’s pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs; training pharmacy staff and health care professionals;
Protects patients and staff by adhering to infection-control protocols;
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations;
Maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies;
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety and environmental, standards
Attends timely all phone queries;
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned;
Ensures safety standards are compiled (occupational and patient safety).

You have experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting for minimum of 3 years. Next to having excellent administrative skills and the ability to work with other healthcare professionals, you recognize yourself in the below:

education & qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy;
