Operating cooking equipment such as ovens, stovetops, grills, and deep fryers.
Monitoring food preparation to ensure that it is cooked to the correct temperature and consistency.
Plating and garnishing dishes according to established presentation standards.
Collaborating with other kitchen staff, such as sous chefs and servers, to ensure timely and efficient service.
Maintaining inventory levels of food and supplies and placing orders as needed.
