Role
As MHE Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and providing on-going training that is required onsite to all MHE users including periodical assessments to maintain Health & Safety complaints across all DSV warehousing Facilities
Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering a consistently high level of technical skills training to MHE Operators across the operations area through a variety of warehousing activities.
Responsible for ensuring on-going competence of all MHE operators through the delivery of refresher training, workplace assessments and in areas where unsafe practices or following accidents / incidents are identified.
Proactive approach to ensure reduction in risk from MHE operators and develops learning from experience to prevent further risks where appropriate.
Responsible for assisting in the creation and documenting of safe system of MHE works and suitable and sufficient risk assessments of MHE activities.
Ensure hazards are correctly identified and control measures introduced to eliminate risks and ensuring these are trained out to all relevant staff.
Review the GAP analysis of the safety audits with shift Managers to ensure all areas are completed.
Works with the shift managers to ensure all training is completed and recorded in line with company policy.
Develops a site skills matrix that shows the skill level of all MHE operators and ensure that refresher training is completed within specified time frames.
Assist and advise in the investigation of MHE related accidents.
To participate as an active member of the management team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving site safety
المهارات
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Competencies
Good interpersonal skills, ability to listen, comprehend, communicate clearly and concisely.
Strong work ethic and firm commitment to DSV values.
A confident, composed approach with strong communication skills.
Great organizational skills with attention to detail.
