BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE:
Magento Platform developer, support the Ecom Business, Customization, and Integration with Mobile Apps.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications & web sites.
Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications.
Participate in project & deployment planning.
Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision
· Performing consultation, advice and evaluation assistance on specification for new enhancements
· Work closely with team and internal software development personnel to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into the delivered product.
· Develop accurate and complete quality assurance test plans and test cases to ensure requirements traceability and validation.
· Conduct quality assurance testing of systems and enhancements.
· Assist the business in the production of business cases when required
· Assist the business on the best use of the applications concerned
· Participate in process analysis and improvement
As required, provide end-user training and end-user support

Experience programming in .NET 3.5, C#, ASP.NET ,T-SQL, C/C++, XLM. Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
Communication: The software developer is central to ensuring that projects are completed on time and requires the input of several stakeholders. Problems arise when key people struggle to communicate effectively.
Problem Solving: The use of proprietary tools for the recording, progressing and reporting of incidents. Dealing effectively with unexpected situations, taking advantage of opportunities and overcoming problems.
Continuous Learning: Software tools which automate or assist part of the development process. Software tools which automate or assist any part of the testing process, including the test management process, the execution of the tests, the comparison of actual outcomes to predicted outcomes, the setting up of test preconditions, and other test control and test reporting functions.
Technical Knowledge: Software developers will have some programming capability however as the industry is consistently changing the modern codes today may not necessarily be the same as those used tomorrow. The software developer will be required to keep ahead of the game and identify the appropriate technology for any system.
Customer Focus: As well as the communication, dealing with technical information, generating creative ideas for new software, maintaining operations, faults and meeting clients to discuss the software developer must do all this within set time frames while managing conflicting interests, this in itself is a key challenge.
Developing team’s success: Working co-operatively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
Decision Making: A decision-making strategy is a model, or an approach that helps you make allocation decisions (where to put more effort or spend more time and/or money). However, add one more characteristic: a decision-making strategy that helps- choosing which software project/work to start to achieve business goals that are defined by the business. More specifically, a decision-making strategy is an approach to making decisions that follows existing business strategy.
Innovation: Software processes encompass the tasks, norms, and formal and informal procedures that support software development efforts. These processes are expressed in the methods, tools, and techniques that organize the work of a developer and describe how software is developed. Software process innovation is to envision, design, and implement software.
Planning and Organization Work: Acquiring a proper understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships between these parts, selecting the appropriate method/tool to resolve the problem and reflecting on the result, such that learning is identified and absorbed. Meeting targets and fulfilling agreements even when adverse circumstances prevail.Applying quality standards to all tasks undertaken and ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
