الوصف الوظيفي Responsible to institute and manage the procurement department for sourcing various categories of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM). Negotiate and procure raw, packaging, and indirect materials, services & assets. Deliver a competitive edge by optimizing spend across categories and cost through supplier-buyer partnerships in addition to internal customers. Set norms at an organizational level for inventory control and planning of RM/PM. Ensure sustainability of inventory levels and stock.. Below are the key responsibilities but are not limited to: - Define and develop procurement standard Operating Procedures (SOP). - Manage the procurement and demand planning team with deliverables. - Create Business continuity management. - Drive procurement optimization and efficiencies, including a review of existing practices. Review procurement processes and work on improvement plans. - Support the business with accurate price forecasting. - Prepare and support in building annual budgets and annual operating plans. - Meet the financial objectives of the business by ensuring procurement of materials within budgeted/ approved rates. - Direct and coordinate procurement teams to implement the category sourcing methods along with cost improvement projects, as well as supplier innovation, quality improvement and supply reliability initiatives. - Support Supply Chain Management aspects of new business development, including selection of suppliers. - Develop long term relationship with suppliers of critical raw materials to ensure inventory bookings ahead of time as per forecasted demand. Design and develop Risk Mitigation Strategies for identified categories from a Supply point of view – Business Continuity & Contingency Plans. - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to qualify new and alternate suppliers, managing the supplier relationships throughout the process; and build a pipeline of vendors for key product categories. - Take the lead in identifying new, more reliable and/or lower cost sources of supply. - Function as a team player to implement end-to-end solutions across the supply chain. - Responsible for identifying and driving projects on lead time reductions, process improvement, and quality compliance. - Execute confidentiality and supply related agreements to establish proper business and legal for supplier relationships. - Manage Compliances around sourcing as required by statutory bodies. A key part of this role would be to setup strong systems and processes for planning to ensure the business is able to scale-up and accommodate fast paced growth. المهارات -Bachelor’s Degree in Business -Supply Chain Procurement Certification -Good to have MBA -Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Procurement or Managerial level with F&B;or FMCG (Food industry preferred). Knowledge/Skills: -Advance analytical skills -Financial basic knowledge (procurement related) -Excellent communication skills- verbal & written -Reporting skills (submitting any sample would be appreciated) -Worked with diversified nationality and manage minimum team size of 5-10. -Cross functional experience (operations/marketing/warehouse/etc.) -Familiar with ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Etc.) -Lead with a bias towards action & getting things done -Business Acumen -Planning & following through, operate with discipline -Negotiation skills -Ability to work with tight deadlines. تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/kuwait/jobs/procurement-manager-4597249/ |
