Effectively represent company interests to government bodies and representatives and initiate and maintain relationship channels. Maintains and builds new relationships with various government bodies and representatives to enhance positive company exposure and promote company interests
Liaising with municipality, economic department and any other government departments in relation to Trade Licence/ setting up of new office etc.
Keeping abreast with current labour/ immigration laws and update the HR staff on any changes. Keep the HR team informed of significant problems that may jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those are not being addressed adequately.
Responding to staff enquiries on visa/labour/passport matters.
Directs the preparation and maintenance of reports as are necessary to carry out the function of immigration.
Prepares periodic reports for management or relevant authorities, as necessary and as required.
Monitors the implementation of an improvement process for all immigration& labour records to be tracked and maintained through the company system.
Directs the preparation and maintenance with respect to visa documentation related to new starters, leavers, transfers and renewals.
Organizes attestation of certificates and legal translation of documents and other activities related to immigration and labor.
Process all types of visas including employment visas, residence visas for employees as well as Company guests.
Registration process and renew for all Company vehicles.
Obtain permits for special promotions such as raffles, publishing or advertisement displays as required .
Be up to date with regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws / rules / regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures and keep the Human Resources Department advised of such changes
Submit relevant documents periodically to the immigration/ labour office with regard to cancelled / absconding employees and delete from the company’s sponsorship list
Complete departure and exit formalities for employees after cancellation of visas

5 years of solid experience in Kuwait liaising with Immigration, Labour department and other government departments for all employee affairs (Not ‘mandoup’)
Good and updated knowledge of Kuwaiti Labour and Immigration rules
Cooperative, Team player
Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic & English languages
Knowledge of Computer applications (Microsoft word, Excel)
