Strategic Business Planning and efficiencies
Support the company to ensure the strategy and tactical department activities are aligned to the business objectives; delivering department initiatives and interventions aligned to corporate goals and organization vision.
Implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Participate in establishing Department KPIs; follow up the department performance in order to achieve the assigned objectives.
Maintenance.
Drawing up a schedule for regular maintenance to prevent unplanned downtime
Ensuring that the mechanical systems and equipment are functioning efficiently
Diagnosing problems when machinery breaks down and deciding the best way to repair them.
Responsible for documenting maintenance operations (e.g. keeping a log of maintenance activities, gathering data and preparing reports on repairs carried out, frequent breakdowns and routine checks)
Obtaining any specialized components or fixtures needed to make repairs.
Complying with health and safety regulations.
Maintaining and managing stocks of supplies, parts and equipment.
Establishing maintenance procedures and policies.
Assisting in technical sales support and develops sales leads
Developing action plans to ensure customer retention
Managing the maintenance budget.
Employee Relation
Create a disciplined and motivated work climate across the assigned department.
Create a high-performing work environment for the business.
Facilitate and respond to queries, requests, and issues and provide guidance to internal and external employees and stakeholders.
Administration Process
Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve department records/data management and ensure it is maintained in standards for audit.
Source, maintain & develop professional business relations with relevant vendors or service providers.
Maintain files of documents as a backup for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on unit prices from suppliers.
coordinate with warehouse and order spare parts and sign release forms for the same
Team Leadership
Manage and develop the team and provide succession plans for key positions within the team.
Monitor measure and report on department issues, opportunities, and development plans, and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
Responsible for the development of team members via cross-training, direct inductions, etc.
Identify gaps within respective business unites
5-7 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
المهارات
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and ERP software to extract and provide job cost analysis, and project information and produce related reports.
Critical Thinking - Have the ability to analyze data to develop solutions for improvement from a business perspective.
Confidence - Ability to give appropriate challenges to stakeholders.
Influencing - Strong communication, persuasive, and negotiation skills.
Analytical - Self-Management and Man- Management skills.
Collaboration and Teamwork - ability to interact effectively.
Proactive - Self-driven personality with core leadership qualities.

Ability to schedule projects, stick to deadlines, analyse cost tracking.
Able to make decisions under tight deadlines.
Bilingual – Preferable
