Develops products by identifying potential products, conducting Detailed market research, generating Customer/Market requirements, determining specifications, supplier’s lead-time schedule, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; Develop marketing strategies.
Responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of New/Existing products to discover a product(s) that is valuable, usable and feasible by providing direction to a multi-disciplinary Sales team. Product Managers should be obsessed with optimizing a product to achieve the business goals while maximizing return on investment. They should have strong Local Market awareness, having strategic direction, strong Brand Representation, Capable to drive Financial Budget for each Brand/Product, efficient in Supplier selection, assessment, and final Negotiation.
Delivers the operating plan, achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit and return on investment for all the channels/categories of business and/or key customers.
Recommends present and future product lines from concept, forecast, cost, promotion and support.
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Assesses market competition by comparing the company’s existing products to competitor’s products.
Determines customer’s needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
Obtains product market share by working with sales Manager to develop product sales strategies.
Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts Business Plans supporting special reports and analyses.
Monitoring Brand Development & Market share.
Monitoring Business KPI.
Determines product costing by utilizing market research data; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
Facilitates product availability / Replenishment with suppliers by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and delivery schedules.
Maintains product management staff by orienting, and training sales Staff from all segments.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by establishing Social networks; participating in professional Exhibitions, seminars etc.
Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning and implementation.
Ensuring the achievement of brand awareness & Sales target through.
Build awareness and understanding of the products (internally and externally).
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external principals. Define, explain and iterate a product vision that is compelling to end users and sales team.
Play an active role in obtaining Government as well as consultant’s approvals.
Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
Daily meetings and weekly planning and to organize product Samples and monitor progress.
Planning Brand Strategies & Timelines.
To train & develop a sophisticated sales team.

A Product Manager role requires strong leadership, as they lead a team of engineers, and/or marketing executives to create the next successful product launch. Balancing the diverse needs of the group and a complicated timeline of tasks, a Product Manager requires finesse as well as stress management and organizational skills.
Product Managers must have a range of technological and analytical skills, balanced by their abilities to build relationships.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields like Economics, Marketing, Advertising Communications and Statistics (Preferable)
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver
Commercial and customer focus
Excellent teamwork skills
Ability to motivate and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority
Bilingual preferred
(Common courses in Communication, Organizational behavior, Operations management, International business, Marketing, Finance and Managerial strategies)
