الوصف الوظيفي Perform duties assignment to Centralize Maintenance Department in any plant of Kuwait Steel. Repairs damaged or defective equipment, assemblies and sub-assemblies in the whole plant like gearboxes, air blowers, compressors, overhead cranes, centrifugal pumps, sump pumps, various rollers and gear-motors using wrenches, hammers, spanners, specialized tools and instruments during breakdown and mill shutdown Perform preventive maintenance activities like periodic servicing, cleaning, bolt tightening of binding machines, cold shear, overhead cranes, condition-based/tonnage based replacement of knives, push rods, troughs, rollers, conveyors, cylinders, wire ropes, bearings and others. Perform maintenance activities during roughing change, size change & mill breakdown when needed. Prepare the necessary spares needed for mechanical maintenance department. Attending breakdowns and minimizing delays and un-planned shutdowns and conducts delay analysis Reconditions all hydraulics and pneumatic cylinders using applicable repair kits. Maintains overhead cranes by condition-based replacement of wire ropes, wheels and brake elements and fixed-time servicing of the cranes moving, rotating parts Aligns machines and equipment using precision instruments, i.e. SKF Laser alignment tool, dial gauge indicator, vernier calipers and micrometers Pulls out and replace various types of flexible and rigid couplings of DC Drive Motors, cooling bed drive shaft and various rotating parts Maintains, repairs and safe keep tools and instruments. المهارات Knows basic predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance principles. Knowledge in basic Plant Mechanics such as welding, cutting, machine fitting,, machine alignment and installation Knows how to read calipers, micrometers and other precision instruments. Knows how to operate infrared thermometer, vibrometer, electronic stethoscope, induction heater, high pressure cleaner, radial drill, power hacksaw and concrete drill, pneumatic wrench, pneumatic descale, spray gun and optical level. Knows how to operate and repair specialized equipment/tools, such as SKF Laser Shaft Alignment tools, induction heater, oil separator, high pressure cleaner, transfer car, Forklift, Man lift and overhead cranes. Ability to work as a team with other employees, work overtime and to be called for emergency breakdown.
